I'm attempting to update a r710's idrac6 firmware. the firmware is currently on version 1.20.01. attempting to update to anything newer via the idrac firmware update tool fails after progress gets to 10%.. If you point the lifecycle controller to ftp.dell.com then it should pull down every firmware update that is required. i've used it to update the bios, idrac, hba's and so on..
